During cold winter times certain pieces of music can heat your day up and anything that flirts with jazz does the job perfectly for me. The effect of those blue notes double the warm feelings if it’s a sunny day and help you enjoy a chilly afternoon.
Since the winter is on its way I wanted make a mix that serves this purpose and so I have compiled a variety of tracks to create a warm, soothing atmosphere. There are different styles in this podcast ranging all the way from modern jazz to drum and bass, afrobeat to bossa nova and yet they all harmoniously fit the context, delivering a sense of sunshine amid a frosty backdrop.
